The independent MP in the Legislative Council, the head of the Popular Committee Against Siege on Gaza, Jamal El-Khoudary, depicted the Israel's decision regarding facilities on Gaza commercial crossings as "media", urging the international community to continue pressure in order to end the siege on Gaza according to the Palestinian determinants.
El-Khoudary considered that achieving those Israel facilities on the ground was impossible without achieving the demands which were; the opening of all crossings in full, without exception, the entry of goods including building materials, cement and raw materials for factories without restriction or limitation, as well as to open the safe passage between Gaza and the West Bank for movement of individuals, and the waterway between Gaza and the outside world under supervision of the European.
El-Khoudary said; "Israel lives in a crisis after the massacre against "Freedom Flotilla", trying to circumvent over the international public opinion as well as manifesting end of the siege on Gaza and there is no need for ships to break the siege in order then to form a public opinion against the uprising of ships."
He noted that "the Kerem Shalom", the only crossing from which Israel let entry of some goods, burdened only 120 trucks, while the daily need of Gaza was more than 1000 trucks to meet a crisis left by four years of the intensified siege.
He continued; "Israel's decisions will enter the arrival of goods to Gaza in the cycle of coordination for entry, with thousands of applications for entry of goods while efficiency of the crossing only allows a very small number if compared with what is needed, and this underlines the importance of opening all the crossings to end the siege."
The independent MP in the Legislative Council, the head of the Popular Committee Against Siege on Gaza, Jamal El-Khoudary, appealed for the international community and liberals of the world to continue pressure in order to end the siege, stressing the continuation of ship uprising until completely end the siege of Gaza.
